Kirsten is a Developmental Psychologist who has worked in the fields of educational research and remediation, psychology technology, and academic psychology. Her recent academic papers appear in the Open Psychology Journal and the American Journal of Health Promotion. She currently works as a consultant for Spark Wave, a psychological technology company. As a volunteer, Kirsten assists English language learners who would like to enroll in college programs and apply for financial aid.

Kirsten also has executive experience with an academic services company. She holds a B.A. in Child Development from Connecticut College and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
